San Francisco Pride Parade celebrates four decades this Sunday

The 40th celebration of the San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebration kicks off Sunday morning at the foot of Market Street at Beale at 10:30 a.m. The parade ends at Market and 8th Street where a celebration at Civic Center Plaza will host parade-goers.

It is the largest LGBTQ organized event in the nation. This year’s theme is “Forty and Fabulous” honoring four decades of the parade and celebration that has drawn millions worldwide.

The Civic Center festival kicks off on Saturday continuing into Sunday. More information can be found at sfpride.org.
