Police were seeking two men who attacked and injured a 63 year-old man near San Francisco’s Metreon during a violent cell phone robbery that happened Oct. 24.

Authorities released footage from Yerba Buena Gardens security cameras that police said purportedly shows the two robbery suspects moments before the 6:30 p.m. attack.

Police said the men confronted the victim, punched him, kicked him in the face after he fell to the ground, and fled with his cell phone through the first level of the Metreon shopping complex.

Investigators described one of the men as a white or Hispanic man in his early to mid-twenties, 5-foot-10, weighing 16o pounds and wore a San Francisco Giants t-shirt and baseball cap.

The second suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man with the same height and weight but wore an olive green shirt and a Giants ball cap during the attack.

Police asked the public to contact investigators if they recognized the men or had information that could lead to an arrest by calling the SFPD anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or texting TIP411 to SFPD with the information.
