LE BOURGET, PARIS – Qatar Airways knows no bounds when it comes to pampering its premium cabin flyers. Flights of just several hours can be done in a seat that turns into a bed.

The carrier offered tours of their Airbus A320 single-aisle aircraft at Le Bourget during the 2015 Paris Air Show. The narrobody plane features 12 fully lie-flat Business class seats in the premium cabin along with 120 Economy class seats.

PARIS — The airline with the largest display at the 2015 Paris Air Show also happens to be one with plenty to show off to the aviation industry.

Qatar Airways has brought its new Airbus A350-900XWB for display at Le Bourget, giving show visitors a glimpse at the twin-aisle jet and Qatar’s on-board product.

Air travel is expected to double over the next 15 years as the emerging middle class of the developing world takes to the skies.  But the large airports generating most of the demand are already congested, and with pressure to combat global warming growing, calls for limits on aviation emissions will only increase.

The solution?  Bigger planes, according to Airbus sales chief John Leahy.
