When you think about Hayward, chances are that rolling green hills as far as the eye can see and long, winding trails marked by hundreds of cow and horse hoof prints are not among the images that come to mind. However tucked away in South Hayward is just that.

Part of the East Bay Regional Park District, Garin Regional Park allows you the chance to learn about Hayward’s farming history and hike along trails with beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay Area, that is if you don’t mind possible encounters with a few grazing cows along the way.
